Hofstra International Travel Insurance
If you are departing on a trip on a study abroad trip with approval from Hofstra University, you will automatically be enrolled in an international travel insurance policy.
Please be on the lookout for your insurance confirmation email from enrollment@visit-aci.com. The email's subject will read “Thank you for purchasing Chubb Individual Education Travel Assistance Program”. You will receive your email before you depart for your trip, typically around two weeks to a month before you depart. Follow the prompts on the email to access your insurance policy documents and ID card.
- As part of Chubb Insurance, you will have access to a 24/7 travel assistance provider, AXA. The contact information is below and they are available 24/7/365. Do not contact AXA until you receive your email. You will not be able to access their services until you are officially enrolled in the insurance by Hofstra University.
- AXA can be contacted for emergency medical or security assistance, medical referrals, direct payment to medical providers, and general travel information and advice.
